| I think at this point, I am wondering why the topic has gone on as long as it has. Here is what you can glean from this thread: Having the shield... -Looks better -Should provide better cooling in theory based on physics and thermodynamics -Remains as was from factory -Protects engine bay from dirt/debris Not having the shield... -Showed better cooling results for Scott in a harsh track environment -opens the bottom of the engine bay to dirt/debris -Looks ghetto Now is where you take what you have learned and make your own decision about what route you want to take. I'm all for questions on an open forum, and I don't mean to ridicule, but at some point you need to apply the opinions and info people give you and make your own conclusion.
